CAROL SPREMBERG & DEBORA BACCARELLI, CO-FOUNDERS AND PRINCIPAL DESIGNERS
Carol and Debora are the founders of Studio BlackDot. They are Brazilian and have gained clients and followers from all over the world. In all of their projects, they imbue a bit of eclectic Brazilian culture and strive to showcase their ever-evolving style. Light-filled rooms, colorful textiles, natural and organic elements, earthy textures, and wood are the elements that define and distinguish a home designed by Studio BlackDot. Regardless of the style requested, each space designed by Carol and Debora conveys a sense of coziness, eclecticism, and singularity.
Currently, Studio BlackDot LLC creates designs for residences and comercial spaces. Carol, Debora, and their team work with architects and contractors to bring distinct visions seen in their work to life. Carol lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with her husband Stephan, their children Bruna, Nicholas, and Olivia, and Pippa, their mini Australian Shepherd. Debora, on the other hand, lives in Pittsboro, North Carolina, with her husband Claudio, their daughter Pietra, their son Luigi, and their dog Lupo.
RICARDO, DIGITAL DESIGNER
Ricardo Fabri is part of the Studio BlackDot team and is responsible for creating and producing drawings related to the projects developed by the Interior Design team. For this purpose, the drawings are developed using ArchiCad, SketchUp, Armedia AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other tools. Ricardo also oversees the task of creating flowcharts, layouts, parts for manufacturing, and technical documentation. His background in architecture in Brazil gives him a deeper understanding of mechanical drawing and proficiency in using these software programs.
